Multi-layered composite materials are being used in various engineering fields, such as aerospace, automobile, and wind energy, because of their superior material properties. Due to impact loads during the service life structures, different types defects can occur, matrix cracking, fiber breakage, delaminations, etc. In this research, a novel SHM technique for delamination detection localization using minimum number sensors is proposed. The analytical, numerical, experimental analysis GW was performed increase probability delaminations CFRP material. A new analytical model developed, which enables identifying converted transmitted modes presence multiple modes. 2D FFT-based spatial filtering filter dominant A0 mode separated inspect delamination.
